Course Summary
The Private Pilot’s License (PPL) allows a pilot to fly a single engine, non-high performance aircraft during daylight hours in VFR conditions. The Private Pilot License is fully upgradeable to include the Night Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Instrument Rating, and Seaplane Rating. The Private Pilot License is also the starting point for the Commercial Pilot License.
To hold this license a person must have reached 17 years of age, obtain a minimum Category 3medical certificate.

- Medical Examination* average cost: $250.00
*Examination is the responsibility of the student - Preparatory Ground Instruction (Optional): $100.00 / hour
- Flight Test, Transport Canada Licensing Fees and Examination approximate fees $935.00
