Here at Super T Aviation Academy, our training staff offer world class instruction and leadership through over 100 years of combined aviation experience. With a wide variety of aviation courses, from beginner to advanced, our attention to detail will ensure that once you graduate, you will be able to confidently and safely operate an aircraft anywhere in the world. As an affiliate flight school of West Jet Airlines, our clean, modern training facility will facilitate rapid learning.
Our city averages 300 days a year of sunny weather, promoting consistent flying. We are close enough to large centers to train students to be safe in congested airspace and far enough away to promote very low wait times to be airborne. This approach to training maximises the student’s dollar while exposing the student to varied types of traffic and flying conditions.
Licenses
PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE (PPL)
The Private Pilot License allows a pilot to fly a single engine, non-high performance aircraft during daylight hours in VFR conditions. The Private Pilot License is fully upgradeable to include the Night Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Instrument Rating, and Seaplane Rating. The Private Pilot License is also the starting point for the Commercial Pilot License.
COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL)
The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) allows the holder to fly for hire or reward in a Canadian Commercial Air Service. This opens the door to a career as a commercial pilot, as you work your way towards becoming an airline pilot, charter pilot, medevac pilot, pipeline surveying pilot or forest fire suppression pilot, among many other flying positions.
INTEGRATED AIRLINE TRASPORTATION LICENSE (ATPL)
The Integrated Airline Transportation Pilot License program at Super T Aviation is a comprehensive pathway designed for those aiming to achieve the highest level of pilot certification. This intensive course combines advanced flight training with in-depth theoretical studies, preparing graduates for a career as a commercial airline pilot. The curriculum is structured to ensure a seamless transition from novice to airline-ready pilot, focusing on both the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the aviation industry.
